Development Program
Introduction
PUC Radio Virtue Development
Program is initiated by Dr. KOL PHENG, founder of Pannasastra University of
Cambodia in order to promote morality education to Cambodian people based on
Buddhism and other world scholars’ philosophies and theories. This program aims
to raise daily life problems in current society to discuss and participated by
experienced speakers and public people via calling in which listeners
especially youth can gain more knowledge, experiences, and consideration and be
able to solve every problem.
Venerable PENH VIBOL, one of
professors of Personal Growth and Development subject, request to PYCD for
cooperation to train and guide PG Morning students this term to participate in
the program by summarizing Jataka story and giving reflection when calling in
the program.
Objective of meeting
1. To
meet with class president, vice-presidents and all group leaders to get to know

instruct students the process of the program
3. To
guide them how to summarize Jataka stories and give reflection
4. To
train them how to talk in radio and words to use
Venues, Date & Time
The meeting was conducted at Koh
Tral room at noon on 4th January 2017.
Process & Date of the Program
Students are instructed to read
“The Collection of Jataka Stories (part I)” book published by Mind Book. Each
group is assigned to read a story and explain main points as well as
reflection. Then they need to call in to radio FM 104 to narrate the summarized
story on the date assigned.
There are 3 days a week and 2
hours a day from 8pm to 10pm which are on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in which
1st group started on Friday 6th Jan, 2nd group
started on Saturday 7th Jan, and 3rd group started on 8th
Jan 2017. And next groups start on date respectively.
