Academic Department’s mission plan for 2017

1.      Senior Project Training
1.1  Objective
Senior project training is a short course which provide knowledge and effective methods on how to write a senior effectively. Since the writing senior project is a concern and unclear for PUC’s students who are in year fourth. In order to help them to write a senior project, PYCD ask for help to Prof. Cham Bunthet to orient this training.
1.2  Expected Outcome
-          To get PUC’s students aware of a criteria for writing senior project
-          To help them to get ready and write in effective way of senior
-          To offer guidance and tips for them
-          To raise and encourage them to contribute to community
(Their Fee Will contribute to Community)

2.      PUC’s Radio Virtue Development (PRVD)
2.1 Objective
To contribute to the flourishing of the moral virtues in the Cambodia society, PRVD is initiated by the Dr. Kol Peng, our PUC Founding Father, in the hope to promote the moral virtues among the Cambodia Youth as much as we can through providing the moral lessons extracted from the Buddhist Legends broadcast on radio 104FM.
We envision that the young generation of Cambodia will lead their lives through moral virtues in dealing in any kind of communications at intrapersonal level, or group level by putting the moral values first for the sake of the individual and the community as a whole.
- To raise the moral awareness among the youth about the moral virtue.
- To make the youth understand the importance of moral virtue.
- To promote the action-based activities related to moral development.
- To make the youth reflect on their daily virtue-related activities.
- To contribute to the society as much as we can.
- To provide the opportunity for PUC students, especially PG and Character Building Classes, to collaboratively learn and study the moral issue in the context of Cambodia society.



2.2  Expected Outcome
In order to involve youth in the Buddhist moral JATAKA stories and dialogue, the following steps are to be expected
-          Arouse youth awareness about moral lessons
-          Make the youth understand the moral lessons
-          Encourage action
-          Foster moral reflection

3.      Community Research Training and Writing
3.1  Objective
-          To make an document for Community trip
-          To straighten of researching skill and find out the problems and solution of students to communities
-          To get the ideas for new generation of the community development
-          To  narrow the gap of community prejudice between city’s students and community’s students
-          Sharing the knowledge and Experience of universities lives
-          Help students to understand about community living standard

-          Have documents for new generation about communities
-          Students awareness about the real situation at the community
-          Build to be a leadership for developing the community
-          Building friendship among people other there
