Introduction
The cause why there was charity event to offer food to beggars in front of Royal Palace is that there was propose by our new member of PYCD Club is Mr. Ngoun Dararith after he joined the community project at Koh Thom Community, Kandal province on January 08, 2017 organized and leaded by PYCD and he requested PYCD members to help organize as in that occasion charity event to give foods to beggars on February 11, 2017.
Objectives
On February 10, 2017, our 3 members of PYCD club went to survey for observing place or the situation of the charity events to give foods to beggars at Takmao town, but we considered that there were not many beggars over there, so we decided to change place to survey at Royal Palace in front of Royal of the riverside, then we collected data of sharing foods to beggars in order to:
1. Offering foods to 100 beggars on their street life which have not responsibility life
2. To show our love to them on the days of Mek Ka Bochea on February 11, 2017
3. To show what we can share to them and care about them in the society as us too
4. To show the solidary and not immigrations to them in their lives conditions
5. To seek for possibility that PYCD can be a part to do charity work; and
6. To lead PUC students, PYCD members to share their knowledge, experience and show good role model to other people in the society to love each other and sharing.
Activities at Kroperha and Royal Palace
On February 11, 2017, PUC Youth club for Community Development (PYCD) leaded our PYCD members around 30 members to do charity work and prepare foods with other materials use to beggars at Wat Kroerha in Takmao town, Kandal province in which there were presence
from Mr. Ngoun Dararith as new member of PYCD, PYCD former president Mr. Tith Sotun, PYCD Vice president Mr. Sot Sina and many of other PYCD members who have involved and supported to make this charity event happen with the charity events on February 11, 2017.
During that occasion, PYCD organized many activities which focused on cooking foods for beggars and many members helped to organize the process of cooking foods, doing fried rice by PYCD members and some of staffs from local NGO to participate on that charity events Wat Kroperha, we packages fired rice, packages noodles, packages waters, packages breads and some of other materials using for the beggars on the occasion day of our charity events February 11, 2017.
After we cooked foods, did fried rice, packages noodles, packages waters, packages breads and some other materials for the beggars at 11:30am at Wat Kroperha, we left Wat Kroperha and went to Royal Palace in order to give foods and all materials to beggars in front of Royal Palace. We founded that, most of beggars are really happy when they meet us and they really enjoy the gift that we share to them during those day. We, PYCD members have given the foods and other materials using for them on that days and show our love to them with no discrimination and so on.
